Relaxing Pool & Spa Combo

This pool was designed with both adults and children in mind. As one of the best pool design companies in Leawood, we made sure the pool’s size included plenty of room for the kids to play. One of the most noticeable features is the pool seating. This design includes ample seating so the grownups can sit, relax, socialize, and enjoy some drinks, all without being completely submerged in water.

The coping stone that surrounds the pool was created using Pennsylvania Blue Stone. The Blue Stone is used in other areas of this layout, which we’ll explain a bit later. For this project, we removed the trampoline and play area so that the fire pit is just a short walk (six stone steps to be exact) from the spa. The fire pit also includes a custom built, gas starter, wood burning pit. This will no doubt be a popular spot to hang out, make some s’mores, and stay nice and toasty on those chilly evenings.

Customized Pergola

While the kids are busy splashing around in the pool, a pergola is a great spot for the adults to hang out. This customized pergola was painted white to match the house’s trim and add even more beauty to an already amazing backyard living space.

Underneath the pergola you’ll find an outdoor TV, custom outdoor kitchen, Fire Magic grill, refrigerator, and stainless drawers. Our By The Blade design team also made sure to include Pennsylvania Blue Stone countertops to match the pool perfectly.
